Mid-term rentals in Lasarte-Oria, Donostia a quarter of an hour away

The smart move in this corner of Gipuzkoa: live at small-town prices, work wherever the job takes you and be in San Sebastián in 15 minutes. What you save on rent, you spend on living.

The racecourse

San Sebastián's racecourse is right here: race afternoons in summer and an enormous promenade the rest of the year.

By the Oria

The river shapes the promenade and the bike path; Zubieta and Real Sociedad's training grounds are just across the bridge.

Living here

Living in Lasarte-Oria by the month

Lasarte-Oria is one of those places that never makes the postcards and yet quietly solves your life: a good-sized town with every service, right next to San Sebastián but without its prices or its crowds. Industry gave it its character — the Michelin factory has been here for a century — and the racecourse gave it its name: the summer races are a Donostia tradition that actually happens here.

The practical side is its trump card. The bus drops you in the centre of Donostia in about twenty minutes, the N-1 and the A-1 are on your doorstep for getting around Gipuzkoa, and the business parks of the Oria valley are a step away: that is why it is one of the favourite bases for relocated professionals. And at the end of the day, small-town life: the market, high-street shops, the riverside walk.

Who is it right for? For anyone working in Donostia or in the valley who doesn't want to pay city-centre rent, for teams posted here for a construction job or a project — we accept invoicing in the company's name — and for anyone between homes because of a renovation. Our flat here, Oria, is fully exterior and very well suited to sharing. Tell us your dates on the booking page and we'll take care of the rest.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions about Lasarte-Oria

Why rent by the month in Lasarte-Oria?

Because you get Donostia a quarter of an hour away at big-town prices: everyday shops, a real atmosphere all year round and the racecourse and Zubieta facilities right next door. For workers posted to the area it is one of the most practical bases around.

How do you get to San Sebastián?

By direct bus in about 20 minutes, with frequent departures, and by car in about 15 via the A-1 or the N-1. There is also a bike path that follows the Oria for much of the way.

Does it work for relocated workers?

Yes, it is one of its most common uses: Lasarte-Oria sits next to the Oria business parks and a step away from Donostia, and our flat accepts invoicing in the company's name with a seasonal contract. More detail in corporate housing.

What's the minimum stay?

One month. From there, whatever you need: a quarter, six months or the full academic year, with an extension if the project runs long.

What does the monthly price include?

A fully furnished and equipped apartment, WiFi and initial bed and bath linen. Utilities depend on the flat and the length of stay — we detail it all in the proposal.
